The A52 5G was not simply the A52 with 5G added. It used a different processor and a higher display refresh rate — so the two are worth comparing on their merits rather than assuming one is a superset of the other.
What the 5G version brought

Both versions kept the things that made the A52 well regarded: an AMOLED screen, optical image stabilisation and stereo speakers.
