2 iPhones On 1 Contract Deals Vodacom

Vodacom lets you take two iPhones on one contract through its Double Deals. When we checked on 12 September 2026, Vodacom listed iPhone 16e, iPhone 15 and iPhone 17 pairs. Each pair was the same model twice, on a 36-month term, with one monthly total. The first iPhone gets the main RED plan, and the second iPhone gets its own SIM on a smaller plan. Vodacom was the only major South African network listing iPhone pairs at the time.

These are examples from Vodacom’s Apple Double Deals listings, checked on 12 September 2026. Prices change often, so treat them as a snapshot and confirm current pricing on Vodacom’s site.

Which iPhone pair fits

iPhone 16e pair: the lowest monthly cost of the iPhone pairs we saw. Suits users who want a current iPhone without Pro features.
iPhone 15 pair: an older model that costs more per month than the 16e pair on the same data tier, so compare the two before choosing.
iPhone 17 pair: 256GB storage and 5G, at a noticeably higher monthly cost. Some versions are TopUp plans.

We didn’t see Pro or Pro Max models among the iPhone Double Deals. Vodacom’s deal filters listed iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max pre-orders separately.

What Is Included in the Deal

On the 2x iPhone 16e 128GB Double Deal (3GB option), Vodacom’s deal page showed:

Primary device: iPhone 16e 128GB, colour choice.
Secondary device: iPhone 16e 128GB, colour choice.
Main plan: RED Core 3GB Unlimited TopUp, with 3GB anytime data, unlimited minutes and 150 SMSs.
Second SIM: RED Flexi 90.
Extras at the time: 2 months’ theft cover, a bonus video data ticket and once-off promotional data.

Main plan vs second SIM

The two iPhones don’t get equal plans. The primary iPhone gets the RED plan with data and unlimited minutes. The secondary iPhone runs on RED Flexi 90, which is much smaller. If the second user streams, uses maps or hotspots often, budget for extra data or choose a larger main plan and share connectivity where you can.

TopUp plans

The main plan on the 16e deal was a TopUp plan, which means usage stops when the allocation runs out until you buy more. This keeps the bill predictable. Some iPhone 17 pairs came in both standard and Top Up versions, so check which one you’re choosing.

Monthly Cost and Contract Length

All the iPhone Double Deals we saw ran for 36 months. Over that term, even the lower-priced pair is a large total commitment, so work it out before applying:

Cancellation and upgrades

Vodacom’s contract terms require at least 20 business days’ notice to cancel. Early cancellation costs can include the remaining device balance, subscription fees and the discount applied to the device. On two iPhones, that can be a significant amount. After 36 months, the contract continues month to month unless you cancel or upgrade.

The deal page offers New Contract or Upgrade. Before you commit, ask Vodacom:

whether both iPhones become eligible for an upgrade at the same time;
whether the second SIM can be cancelled separately, and what that costs.

Vodacom online

Apple Double Deals appear when you filter “Browse all deals” by the Double Deals promotion and the Apple brand. The deal we checked was marked as available online.

Vodacom stores

In-store pricing and stock can differ from online, so confirm with the store if you prefer to buy in person.

Other networks

MTN, Telkom and Cell C had two-phone offers on Android handsets when we checked. Telkom and Cell C had no iPhone pairs. MTN’s September 2026 catalogue lists one pre-loved iPhone 14 + iPhone 13 pair at R799 pm x 36, valid until 6 October 2026 and while stock lasts, but no pair of new or matching iPhones. For two new iPhones on another network, you’d most likely need two separate contracts.

Who This Deal Is Best For

A Vodacom two-iPhone Double Deal can suit you if:

both users want the same iPhone model;
one person is the heavier user and the other needs a light plan;
you’re a Vodacom customer due for an upgrade, or happy to move to Vodacom;
you can comfortably cover the combined payment for 36 months.

It may not suit you if:

one person wants a Pro model or a different iPhone;
both users need large data allowances;
you’d prefer a shorter contract term.

Vodacom runs credit checks, and approval isn’t guaranteed.

Alternative Phone and Bundle Deals

Android pairs on Vodacom. These usually cost less each month than iPhone pairs.
Phone-Tablet Duo. If the second device doesn’t need to make calls, check whether Vodacom lists an Apple phone-and-tablet pairing.
One iPhone contract plus a pre-owned iPhone bought for cash.
Two separate iPhone contracts, if both users need full plans or different models.
