Vodacom sells two-phone contracts as Double Deals, which it describes as “2 devices, 1 contract”. You choose a primary and a secondary device. The primary device gets the main price plan, and the secondary device comes with its own second SIM on a smaller plan. You pay one monthly total, and the deals we checked in September 2026 all ran for 36 months. You can apply as a new customer or as an upgrade.
For single-device Vodacom contracts and SIM-only plans, see Vodacom Contract Deals.
Compare Vodacom Contract Deals 2 Phones
Vodacom groups its Double Deals into three types:
| Double Deal type | What you get | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Twinsies | Same brand, same phone twice | Couples or parent and child who want identical phones |
| The Perfect Pair | Same brand, two different phones | One better phone plus one entry-level phone |
| Phone-Tablet Duo | Same brand, a phone plus a tablet | One person who wants both a phone and a tablet, or a household device |
On 12 September 2026, Vodacom’s Double Deals filter showed hundreds of combinations across brands such as Nubia, HONOR, vivo and Apple. Each pairing came in several data options, from 1GB upward, with unlimited voice minutes on the main plan.
Android pairs and iPhone pairs
Budget Android pairs make up most of the range. Vodacom also lists iPhone pairs on selected models. If an iPhone is the priority, compare 2 iPhones On 1 Contract Deals Vodacom for model-specific guidance.
What Is Included in the Deal
On a Vodacom Double Deal page, you get:
- Primary device: your chosen phone and colour.
- Secondary device: the second phone (or tablet) and colour.
- Main plan: a Vodacom RED plan with anytime data, minutes and SMSs. On the deal we checked, this was RED Core 3GB Unlimited TopUp.
- Second SIM: “This plan also includes a second SIM”, on RED Flexi 90 in the example we checked.
- Promotional extras on some deals, such as short-term theft cover, video data or once-off promotional data.
What the two SIMs mean for you
The primary SIM carries the main plan. The second SIM has a smaller plan. So your Double Deal is really one main user and one lighter user, not two equal contracts. If both people need similar data, compare the second SIM’s allocation with what that person actually uses.
TopUp or postpaid
Some Double Deals use TopUp plans, which stop when your allocation runs out until you buy more. Others are full postpaid plans, where extra usage is billed. Check the plan name on the deal page before you choose.
Monthly Cost and Contract Length
Every Double Deal we checked was priced per month over 36 months, as one total for both devices. Vodacom says Double Deals come at “discounted prices compared to purchasing two contracts separately”. That’s worth checking against your own needs, because the second SIM has a smaller plan.
| Cost to compare | Where to find it |
|---|---|
| Monthly total | Deal page (“PM x 36”) |
| Data option | Choose from the listed data tiers on the main plan |
| Delivery | A flat R79 delivery fee was added to the first bill on the online deal we checked |
| Total contract cost | Monthly total × 36, plus once-off fees |
| Deposit | Vodacom’s terms allow a deposit, depending on your credit profile |
Cancellation, upgrades and end of term
Vodacom’s general contract terms apply:
- Cancellation notice: at least 20 business days.
- Early cancellation costs: can include the remaining device balance, subscription fees up to cancellation, and the discount Vodacom applied to reduce the device cost. With two devices, this can add up.
- End of term: after the initial period, the contract continues month to month unless you cancel or upgrade.
- Upgrades: Vodacom’s terms allow upgrades from the 19th month on 24-month contracts. Confirm the timing for a 36-month Double Deal.
Vodacom doesn’t publish how cancelling only the second SIM affects the deal. Ask before you sign.
