Data bought in small amounts is expensive per gigabyte, and bundles expire. Two habits reduce that:
- Buy the largest bundle you will actually finish before it expires
- Check the validity period — expiry is where prepaid money is genuinely lost
When to move to a contract instead
If you are consistently spending more each month on prepaid data than a SIM-only contract would cost, the contract is cheaper — provided the income supporting it is stable.
