Cell C publishes its current contract deals in a PDF booklet called the Connector Book, released per deal cycle on cellc.co.za. When we checked in September 2026, the current booklet ran from 22 September to 2 November 2026. Cell C’s online contracts page also lists deals with monthly prices on each product page, and it runs separate promotion pages with their own dates.
A catalogue is a snapshot. Before applying, check that the deal is still valid, confirm the contract term and package, and add the once-off fees to the monthly price. For Cell C’s full range beyond the booklet, compare Cell C Contract Deals by phone, plan and budget.
What to Know About Cell C Contract Deals Catalogue
Where Cell C publishes its deals
Cell C deals show up in three official places, and they don’t always match:
| Where | What it is | What to watch for |
|---|---|---|
| Connector Book (PDF booklet) | Printed-style catalogue for a fixed deal cycle | Validity dates on the cover; some deals are in-store only |
| Online contracts page | Live listings with monthly prices on each product page | Prices and stock can change during a cycle |
| Promotion pages | Short campaigns such as Cell C’s “Fantastic Deals” | Their own start and end dates, separate from the booklet |
The booklet lives under a “booklet” folder on cellc.co.za, and Cell C has published a new one for each deal cycle. The cycle before the current one ran from 19 June to 10 September 2026. So a PDF you downloaded last month may already be out of date.
Third-party catalogue sites
Many sites repost Cell C catalogues as page-by-page images. They can be handy for browsing, but they sometimes show expired booklets or lag behind the official file. Use them to spot a deal, then confirm it on Cell C’s own booklet or product page.
What the current booklet covers
The August–September 2026 Connector Book has sections for smartphones, laptops, tablets, prepaid and fibre. It includes pre-owned iPhones, which the booklet says are available in selected stores only, and several deals marked as limited stock.
Eligibility, Requirements or Key Terms
A catalogue deal is still a contract application. Cell C’s contracts FAQ (checked September 2026) lists these documents for credit approval:
- a valid South African green barcoded ID or Smart ID card;
- proof of residence not older than three months;
- your most recent three months’ bank statements or payslips.
Cell C says credit vetting usually takes 24–48 business hours. Approval depends on Cell C’s credit and affordability assessment, so a catalogue price is not an offer you’re guaranteed to get.
Check the date before you trust a price
A catalogue is a snapshot with an expiry, and old editions circulate long after they lapse — forwarded as PDFs, reposted on deal sites, cached in search results. Before acting on anything you read in one:
- find the validity dates on the cover or footer;
- check the deal still appears in Cell C’s own shop;
- confirm the plan and term attached to the handset, not just the monthly figure.
If a catalogue has no visible dates, treat it as unverified rather than current.
Terms you’ll see in a Cell C catalogue
| Term | What it means |
|---|---|
| PM x 36 or PM x 24 | Monthly payment and the number of months in the contract |
| Package name (for example Elevate 1 + to Elevate 6 +) | The plan the phone is bundled with; higher tiers include more data, minutes and SMS |
| Once-off SIM and connection fee | A fee added on top of the first month, not included in the monthly price |
| Limited stock | The deal can end before the booklet’s end date |
| Selected stores only | Not available online or at every store |
| Add-on | A second device, like a tablet or earbuds, offered only with a specific deal |
| TopUp vs Full Postpaid | Cell C contract types with different ways of managing spend |
Reading a deal on the page
Each catalogue deal normally shows the device, the package, the monthly price and the term. The package matters as much as the price. On Cell C’s product pages, the same phone is offered on several Elevate + packages over 24 or 36 months, each at a different monthly price. The booklet usually features one combination, often the lowest monthly figure.
Costs, Contract Conditions and Important Limits
Once-off fees
The current Connector Book states that a once-off SIM and connection fee of R199 applies to all contracts (checked September 2026, booklet valid 22 September – 2 November 2026). The same booklet states the R199 does not apply to the second SIM on a double device deal. Cell C’s online FAQ describes this fee as covering the SIM, RICA and delivery on most new contracts. Add it to your first bill when comparing deals.
Validity dates
Every booklet has an end date. After it passes, the price in the PDF no longer applies, even if the same phone is still on sale. Promotion pages can end sooner, and limited-stock deals can sell out mid-cycle.
Contract term
Cell C lists contracts over 24 and 36 months. A 36-month deal lowers the monthly payment but increases the total cost and delays your next upgrade. Cell C’s FAQ says upgrade eligibility is generally in the last few months of a 24-month term, so check how that works for a 36-month contract.
Add-ons and bundled extras
Catalogue extras usually come with conditions. In the current booklet, some device add-ons are only offered with one specific phone deal, and only from a certain package tier upwards. Read the small print under each offer before assuming an extra applies to the deal you want.
Pre-owned devices
Pre-owned phones in the booklet are marked for selected stores and limited stock. Ask the store about the warranty, condition and return terms for that specific device before signing.
How to Compare Your Options
Use this checklist for any Cell C catalogue deal, and repeat it for the alternatives you’re weighing up.
| Check | Question to ask |
|---|---|
| Validity | Is the booklet or promotion still current today? |
| Channel | Is the deal online, in-store, or selected stores only? |
| Term | Is the price over 24 or 36 months? |
| Package | Which Elevate + tier, and how much data, minutes and SMS does it include? |
| Monthly price | Does the product page show the same price as the booklet? |
| Once-off costs | SIM and connection fee, and any delivery charge |
| Total cost | Monthly price x months, plus once-off fees |
| Extras | Is the add-on tied to a specific package or deal? |
| Stock | Is the device marked limited stock? |
Booklet deal vs online deal
The booklet and the website can differ. For example, the current booklet lists pre-owned iPhones as selected stores only, while Cell C’s contracts page showed a certified pre-owned iPhone 13 as an online listing in September 2026. When the two don’t match, confirm with Cell C which price and channel apply to you.
Cell C vs other networks
A catalogue price only looks good or bad next to alternatives. Compare the same phone on a similar package at other networks, and look at the total contract cost, not just the monthly figure. If you need two phones, compare combo deals against two separate contracts.
Common Problems and What to Do
The deal in the PDF isn’t on the website
Some booklet deals are in-store only, and online listings change during a cycle. Check the “selected stores” or “in-store” note, then ask a Cell C store or call centre whether the deal is still available.
The price is different from the catalogue
Check the package and term first. A higher Elevate + tier or a 24-month term costs more each month. If it’s the same package and term, check whether the booklet has expired.
The booklet has expired
Look for the latest Connector Book on cellc.co.za. Older PDFs stay online and can still appear in search results, so check the dates on the cover.
Stock has run out
Limited-stock deals can end early. Ask whether another colour or storage size is available on the same package, or compare a similar phone.
Your application was declined
Cell C bases approval on its credit and affordability checks. Ask whether a lower-cost package, a TopUp contract or a SIM-only option is available instead, and check that your documents were complete.
The device arrives faulty
Cell C’s FAQ gives a seven-day window to report a device that’s dead on arrival. Report it straight away, and keep your delivery and order details.
Relevant Contract Deals to Compare
If you’ve found a Cell C catalogue deal you like, compare it against these related options:

- Sony Xperia phones. Cell C’s online brand filter didn’t include Sony when we checked in September 2026. If you want an Xperia, check Cell C Sony Xperia Contract Deals for current routes and alternatives.
- iPhone, Samsung Galaxy and other brands. Compare the same model across Cell C’s booklet, its website and other networks before you decide.
