Incredible Connection sells Vodacom, MTN and Telkom contracts under its “Tech on Contract” offering. You arrange them mainly in store, where its consultants handle new phone and data contracts as well as upgrades. It says the service is available at more than 90 stores nationwide. Separately, Incredible Connection offers its own store account and credit options for buying tech outright on instalments, which is not the same thing as a network contract. The network deal lists on its website appeared out of date when we checked, so confirm the current offer in store before comparing.

Current Incredible Connection Contract Deals
CURRENT MARKET FACT (checked 25 September 2026 on Incredible Connection’s product listings): Incredible Connection is an electronics retailer, not a network. What it offers is retailer credit on the hardware — there is no SIM, airtime or data bundled in, and no network contract.
Its credit terms were quoted directly on each product page, and the structure was consistent:

Read the last column before the monthly one. Financing added between R4 721 and R8 065 to the price of identical hardware — roughly 43% to 48% on top of cash. The same product pages also offered four instalments over six weeks with no interest and no fees, which comes to about the cash price and is materially cheaper than the 24-month agreement.
One detail worth checking on any promotion here: on the Xbox Series S the sale price was R9 999 against a normal R10 999, but the credit price of R15 720 works out on the normal price. A sale can reduce what you pay in cash and leave the financed total untouched, so ask which figure the instalment is calculated on.

Incredible Connection has a separate “Top 10” deal page for each network. However, the Vodacom and Telkom pages still showed promotion validity dates from a previous year when we checked. Those lists should not be treated as current. Ask a consultant for the current deal sheet, or check the network’s own site for the same device.

What the MTN prepaid section means
Incredible Connection’s MTN page includes a prepaid deal section alongside data and voice contracts. Prepaid phone deals are usually handsets sold with a prepaid SIM or starter pack, not monthly contracts, although the exact structure depends on the offer. If you are shown a prepaid deal, confirm whether there is any monthly commitment, credit check or recurring debit order before you agree to it.
Before you visit a store
To make an in-store comparison quicker, note two or three phones you are considering and roughly how much data you use each month. Check the same devices on the Vodacom, MTN and Telkom websites first. That gives you a reference point when the consultant shows you the current deal sheet, and makes it easier to spot whether a store offer is better, worse or simply different.
Browsing online, buying in store
Incredible Connection runs a full online store, but the contract side works differently from the rest of its catalogue. Tech on Contract is arranged with a consultant in a branch, and the network deal pages on the website showed validity dates from an earlier year when we checked, so an online listing is not a reliable guide to what is currently available.
Use the site to shortlist a handset and see which networks the retailer carries, then confirm the live deal, the plan and the term with a consultant before you commit. If you want a phone shipped to you on a network contract without visiting a store, a network’s own online channel is usually the more direct route.

If you buy a phone on store credit, you still need a separate SIM, whether prepaid, SIM-only or on contract. If you take a contract, the phone and the monthly plan come together.
Incredible Connection Phone Contract Deals
New contracts
A new phone contract at Incredible Connection is signed with the network. The consultant helps you choose a device and plan and submits your application. The network then carries out its credit and affordability checks. Approval is never guaranteed.
Upgrades
Incredible Connection says you can upgrade your contract in store. If your contract is with Vodacom, MTN or Telkom, ask whether you are due for an upgrade and whether any device repayments remain on your current contract.
Data contracts
The network pages include dedicated data contract sections. These typically pair a data plan with a device such as a router, tablet or other connected device. Check:
- whether the data is anytime or split between day and night;
- whether the device suits where you will use it;
- what happens when the data runs out.
Laptops and tablets
Incredible Connection is a computer and electronics retailer, so ask in store whether a specific laptop or tablet can be taken on a network data contract. We could not confirm current laptop contract options from its official pages.

A useful check is to compare the contract with the cash price. Buy the device outright or on store credit, add a SIM-only plan, and compare that total with the contract total.
Double and Bundle Deals
We could not verify any current double deals, meaning two devices on one contract, on Incredible Connection’s official pages. Networks do sometimes offer phone-plus-tablet, phone-plus-wearable or two-phone deals, and electronics retailers may carry them. If a consultant offers you one, check how it is structured:
- Two separately financed devices. Each has its own repayment inside the monthly amount, or runs as a separate contract.
- A phone with a bundled extra. For example, a smartwatch or tablet added to the plan.
- A genuine promotional second device. A free or discounted device stated in the network’s terms.
Ask for the total monthly amount, the term and what happens to the second device’s repayments if you cancel or upgrade early.
Application, Delivery and Collection Options
In store
Incredible Connection’s Tech on Contract page directs customers to its stores, where consultants advise on deals and process applications. We could not confirm a full online contract application on its website. Bring your ID, proof of address and recent bank statements or payslips, since networks commonly request these.
Store credit applications
For Incredible Connection’s own credit options, the stated requirements are:
- you must be 18 or older;
- valid ID, such as an ID card or book or a driver’s licence. Passports are accepted only for instalment credit;
- your latest three months’ bank statements, or consent for the retailer to obtain them from your bank;
- credit life cover or product cover, which approval is subject to.
Delivery and collection
Incredible Connection offers Click & Collect for online purchases. For contract devices, expect to collect in store, because the contract and RICA process happen there. Confirm delivery options for contracts with the store.
How to Compare Incredible Connection Offers
1. Get the current deal sheet. Do not rely on the online Top 10 pages if their validity dates have passed. 2. Compare the same device across networks. Vodacom, MTN and Telkom may price the same phone differently. 3. Compare with the network’s own store. Networks sometimes run promotions through their own channels. 4. Work out the total cost. Multiply the monthly amount by the term and add any upfront payment. 5. Compare contract versus cash plus SIM-only. Work out whether financing the phone on contract costs more than buying it and adding a SIM-only plan. 6. Separate store credit from contracts. A store account repayment does not include airtime or data. 7. Check what extras are added. Insurance, extended warranties and accessories raise the monthly total.
