Huawei phones ship without Google Mobile Services. In practice that means no Google Play Store, and no Gmail, Google Maps, YouTube or Drive as Google-supplied apps. Huawei’s AppGallery is the app store instead.
Many popular apps are available, and web versions cover a lot. But some South African apps — particularly banking apps — may not be present or fully supported.
