Telkom sells two-phone contracts as Double deals under its FlexOn 2 plan. When we checked in September 2026, most were pairs of the same Android phone on 36-month terms, and some included a watch, earbuds or a tablet. Telkom calls these “double-line” orders, which means two lines under one deal and one monthly price. Telkom’s online shop couldn’t complete double-line orders when we checked, so you had to request a call-back to order.
For single-phone Telkom options, see Telkom Contract Deals.

Here’s what Telkom’s online Double deals section listed on 12 September 2026. The prices are Telkom’s “From” figures.
| Double deal listed | From (checked 12 Sept 2026) | Extras shown |
|---|---|---|
| 2X HONOR X7e 128GB | R649 PM | HONOR CHOICE Watch 2i + Earbuds X8i |
| 2X HUAWEI nova Y74 256GB | R669 PM | Colour choice per device |
| HONOR 600 Lite 256GB + HONOR X5C Plus 128GB | R699 PM | HONOR Pad X7 WiFi |
| 2X OPPO A6 256GB | R779 PM | Watch |
Telkom’s September–October catalogue also listed a Samsung Galaxy A27 pair under FlexOn 2 Double deals. Catalogue deals are “valid from 7 September – 6 October 2026 or while stocks last”, so expect the range to change after that date.
None of the pairs included an iPhone. See 2 iPhones On 1 Contract Deals Telkom for the alternatives.
Same phone or mixed pair?
Most Telkom double deals were the same phone twice. The HONOR 600 Lite + HONOR X5C Plus bundle pairs a mid-range phone with an entry-level one, plus a tablet. That can suit a household where one person needs a better phone than the other.
What Is Included in the Deal
Telkom’s catalogue lists the Double deals under FlexOn 2, which includes:
- 2GB Anytime data
- 500 Telkom-to-Telkom minutes
- 75 All-network minutes
- SMSs
With a double deal, you also get:
- two handsets (or two handsets plus a tablet on the mixed bundle);
- bundled extras on some deals, such as watches or earbuds;
- promotional add-ons from the catalogue period, such as bonus data or an insurance offer (check the fine print on the day).
What Telkom doesn’t spell out online
Telkom’s shop didn’t say whether both lines get the full FlexOn 2 allocation, or whether the second line is on a different plan. When the call-back agent contacts you, ask:
- What plan is on each line, and is either one a TopUp plan?
- Does each line get its own number?
- Is out-of-bundle usage billed on either line?
Monthly Cost and Contract Length
Every Telkom double deal we saw was priced over 36 months. Telkom’s catalogue notes that a R99.00 once-off SIM and connection fee applies to its listed deals. Ask whether that fee applies once or to each line.
| Cost | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| Monthly price | The “From” price and which plan it’s based on |
| SIM and connection fee | Whether R99.00 is charged once or per line |
| Contract term | 36 months on all listings checked |
| Tariff changes | Telkom’s catalogue terms say charges on the tariff plan may be adjusted during a fixed-term contract |
| Total cost | Monthly price × 36, plus once-off fees |
The catalogue fine print also says Telkom may adjust tariff plan charges during the contract period. Keep that in mind when you work out your budget for three years.
Cancellation and upgrades
Telkom’s double deal pages didn’t explain how cancellation or upgrades work for the two lines. Before you agree to the deal, ask:
- what early cancellation costs apply if you end the contract before 36 months;
- whether you can cancel one line and keep the other;
- whether both lines become eligible for an upgrade at the same time.
Available Networks, Retailers or Providers
Telkom online shop
The “Double deals” tab sits in Telkom’s online smartphone gallery. When we checked, the product pages showed stock but said double-line orders couldn’t be completed online. Telkom offered a short call-back form instead.
Telkom sales line and stores
Telkom’s catalogue directs customers to call 10213 or visit its website. If you’d rather order in person, ask your nearest Telkom store whether it has the pair in stock, because catalogue deals are “while stocks last”.
Other networks
Vodacom (Double Deals), MTN (2 FOR 1) and Cell C (combo deals) also had two-phone offers when we checked. If Telkom doesn’t list the handset you want as a pair, compare those networks.
Who This Deal Is Best For
A Telkom double deal can suit you if:
- you want two Android phones, with extras like a watch or earbuds, on one monthly payment;
- most of your calls are to other Telkom numbers, since FlexOn 2 includes far more Telkom-to-Telkom minutes than all-network minutes;
- you’re comfortable finishing your order over the phone with a Telkom agent.
It may not suit you if:
- you want two iPhones (none were listed as Telkom double deals);
- you mostly call other networks, where the 75 all-network minutes may run out quickly;
- you need to order and track everything online.
Credit and affordability checks apply, and approval isn’t guaranteed.
Alternative Phone and Bundle Deals
- One iPhone on Telkom. Compare Telkom iPhone Contract Deals and add a separate plan or prepaid SIM for the second user.
- Apply for a single contract online. If the call-back process doesn’t suit you, check the Telkom Contract Deals Online Application route for a single-device contract.
- Two separate contracts or SIM-only plans. You’ll pay more, but each line gets its own plan and terms.
