Two iPhones on one contract means both handsets and one monthly payment sit under a single deal, usually for 36 months. When we checked in September 2026, Vodacom listed new iPhone pairs under its Double Deals, and MTN’s catalogue listed one pre-loved pair: an iPhone 14 + iPhone 13 at R799 pm x 36 (MTN catalogue valid until 6 October 2026). Telkom and Cell C listed iPhones as single-device contracts only. If you need two iPhones on Telkom or Cell C, or two new iPhones on MTN, you’ll probably need two separate contracts, or a contract plus a cash or prepaid purchase.
For single iPhone options across networks, see iPhone Contract Deals.

iPhone pairs are one type of Double Contract Deals. Here’s what each network offered for iPhones when we checked on 12 September 2026:
| Network | iPhone pair available? | What was listed | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vodacom | Yes | Double Deals on iPhone 16e, iPhone 15 and iPhone 17 models | 36-month terms, several data options, some TopUp variants |
| MTN | Yes, one pre-loved pair | iPhone 14 + iPhone 13 (both pre-loved) at R799 pm x 36 in its catalogue | Not labelled 2 FOR 1; online 2 FOR 1 deals were Android only |
| Telkom | Not seen | Double deals were Android pairs | iPhones listed as single contracts |
| Cell C | Not seen | Combo deals were Android pairs or phone + wearable | iPhones listed as single contracts |
Networks change their iPhone ranges often, especially after a new iPhone launch. If a network isn’t listing an iPhone pair today, that could change next month.
Which iPhone pairs show up
On Vodacom, the pairs were the same model twice, such as two iPhone 16e or two iPhone 15 handsets. Each model came with a choice of data allocations on the main plan. Newer or Pro models may only be offered as single-device contracts, upgrades or pre-orders. MTN’s pair mixes two older models, both pre-loved, on Yellow Plans core + MegaFlex 160.
What Is Included in the Deal
On the Vodacom iPhone Double Deal we checked, you get:
- Two iPhones of the same model, with a colour choice for each.
- A main plan on the primary device. On the 2x iPhone 16e 128GB deal, this was RED Core 3GB Unlimited TopUp, with 3GB anytime data, unlimited minutes and 150 SMSs.
- A second SIM on a separate, smaller plan (RED Flexi 90).
- Promotional extras shown on the deal page, such as short-term theft cover and once-off promotional data. Check these on the day, because they change.
The second iPhone doesn’t get the same plan as the first. Its SIM carries a smaller allocation. That’s fine for a family member who mainly uses Wi-Fi, but less so for someone who needs lots of mobile data.
TopUp or full postpaid?
Some Vodacom iPhone pairs are marked “Top Up”. A TopUp plan stops when your allocation runs out, unless you buy more. Full postpaid plans keep going and bill out-of-bundle use at month-end. If you want to keep costs predictable across two iPhones, a TopUp plan can help. If you’re worried about losing connectivity, postpaid may suit you better.
Monthly Cost and Contract Length
iPhone pairs cost noticeably more each month than Android pairs, because you’re financing two premium handsets.
Example (Vodacom, checked 12 September 2026): 2x Apple iPhone 16e 128GB on RED Core 3GB Unlimited TopUp, from R1,019 PM x 36, with a once-off delivery fee added to the first bill for online orders. Prices and availability can change at any time. Confirm the current price on Vodacom’s site.
When comparing, look at:
| Check | Why it matters for iPhone pairs |
|---|---|
| Total over 36 months | Two premium handsets add up to a large total commitment |
| Data on each SIM | The second SIM usually has a much smaller allocation |
| Storage | Most pairs use base storage, so check it suits both users |
| Once-off fees | Delivery, SIM or connection fees |
| Cancellation costs | Can include the remaining balance on both handsets |
Compare against two single contracts
Price two separate single-iPhone contracts on the same network. Separate contracts cost more but give each person a full plan and independent upgrade and cancellation terms. The double deal usually costs less, but ties both iPhones to one agreement.
Cancellation and upgrades
Vodacom’s contract terms require 20 business days’ notice to cancel. Early cancellation can include the remaining device balance and any discount applied to the device. On a two-iPhone deal, that balance can be large. The deal page lets you apply as a new contract or an upgrade. Ask whether a later upgrade covers both iPhones or only the main line, and whether one line can be cancelled on its own.
Available Networks, Retailers or Providers
Vodacom
Vodacom was the only network listing new iPhone pairs, under its Double Deals promotion, which it describes as “2 devices, 1 contract”. The deal we checked was marked as available online.
MTN, Telkom and Cell C
Each had two-phone offers on Android handsets: MTN’s “2 FOR 1”, Telkom’s FlexOn 2 Double deals and Cell C’s combo deals. Telkom and Cell C didn’t list an iPhone pair. MTN’s September 2026 catalogue does list a pre-loved iPhone 14 + iPhone 13 pair at R799 pm x 36, while stock lasts, but it isn’t sold under the 2 FOR 1 label. Each network also sold iPhones on single-device contracts.
Retailers that sell contracts on behalf of networks may run their own bundles. Confirm which network holds the contract and what plan each SIM carries.
Who This Deal Is Best For
Two iPhones on one contract can suit you if:
- both users want an iPhone and you’re happy with the same model;
- one person is the main user and the other needs a lighter allocation;
- you’re on Vodacom already, or happy to move to Vodacom, and can take on the combined 36-month payment.
Consider something else if:
- you want different iPhone models or a Pro model for one person;
- both users need large data allowances;
- you’d prefer Telkom or Cell C, which weren’t listing iPhone pairs when we checked, or you want two new iPhones on MTN.
Credit and affordability checks apply, and approval isn’t guaranteed.
Alternative Phone and Bundle Deals
- Two phones of any brand. 2 Phones On 1 Contract Deals compares Android pairs on all four networks, often at a lower monthly cost.
- Two of an older model. 2 iPhone 13 Contract Deals covers pairing two iPhone 13 handsets.
- One iPhone on contract plus a pre-owned iPhone bought for cash for the second user.
- One iPhone plus an Android phone on separate contracts, if budgets or needs differ.
2 Phones On 1 Contract Deals iPhones FAQs
Which network has two iPhones on one contract?
Vodacom listed new iPhone pairs under Double Deals on 12 September 2026. MTN’s catalogue, valid until 6 October 2026, lists a pre-loved iPhone 14 + iPhone 13 pair. Telkom and Cell C didn’t list one, so check current listings.
Does the second iPhone get the same plan?
No. On the Vodacom deal we checked, the second iPhone came with its own SIM on a smaller plan.
Can I choose two different iPhone models?
The Vodacom iPhone pairs we saw were the same model twice. MTN’s pre-loved pair combines an iPhone 14 and an iPhone 13. For other combinations, compare separate contracts.
Can I upgrade into a two-iPhone deal?
Vodacom’s deal page offers both new contract and upgrade options. Eligibility depends on your current contract.
What if I want to cancel one iPhone early?
Ask Vodacom before signing. Its official pages don’t explain how cancelling one line affects the deal, and early cancellation costs can apply.
