Revibe doesn’t sell network contracts. It’s a South African online store for certified renewed (refurbished) phones and other electronics. You pay for the device by card or spread the cost through buy-now-pay-later partners, then use it with any SIM plan you choose. For many buyers, that’s a cheaper alternative to a phone contract, especially for a recent iPhone or Samsung Galaxy.

This page explains how Revibe works, how it compares with a network contract, and what to check before buying a refurbished phone. To compare stores that do sell network contracts, start with Contract Deals by Retailer. If you want a new phone on a monthly plan, compare Contract Deals across networks.

Current Revibe Contract Deals

CURRENT MARKET FACT (checked 25 September 2026 on Revibe’s store): Revibe sells certified renewed devices outright, not on network contract. These were its listed prices:

Device (certified renewed) Cash price
iPhone 12 Mini R3 999
iPhone 11 R4 199
iPhone 12 R4 199
iPhone 13 R6 299
iPhone 14 R6 399

It listed a 12-month warranty, free delivery, a 10-day free return window and a buy-now-pay-later option. Its range also covers Samsung, MacBooks, laptops, iPads, Apple Watches, audio and gaming.

Why this is the most useful page to read before taking a pre-owned contract

Pre-owned iPhones are sold on contract too, and the comparison is stark. Telkom listed a pre-owned iPhone 13 at R339 PM over 36 months, which is R12 204 across the term. Revibe listed a certified renewed iPhone 13 at R6 299 outright.

Those are not like-for-like, and the difference matters: the Telkom price includes a plan with data, minutes and SMS for three years, while the Revibe price is the handset alone with no connectivity. The honest way to compare is to add a SIM-only plan to the Revibe figure and then weigh the two totals. Do that arithmetic before signing a 36-month agreement on a two-generation-old phone — on these numbers the outright route plus a cheap SIM-only plan is usually the lower total.

PLAN FACT: this page covers Revibe as a retail route for refurbished devices.

Revibe Phone Contract Deals

Since Revibe has no network contracts, the “Revibe phone contract” route is really two decisions: which refurbished phone to buy and which SIM plan to use with it.

Who Revibe may suit

When a network contract may suit you better

Pairing a Revibe phone with a plan

After buying, compare SIM-only contracts and prepaid bundles on your preferred network. Check that the refurbished phone supports the network bands you need, including 5G if that matters to you.

Working out the real saving

A refurbished phone only saves money if the full picture adds up. Compare like with like:

1. Revibe total. The device price, plus any BNPL fees, the optional protection plan or battery upgrade if you add them. 2. Plan total. What you’d pay for a SIM-only or prepaid plan with the data and minutes you need, for as many months as the contract you’re comparing. 3. Contract total. The monthly price of the same model new on contract, times the contract term, plus once-off fees.

Add the first two and compare the result with the third. Then factor in the differences a spreadsheet won’t show. A new phone gets a fresh battery and a longer software-support runway. A refurbished phone leaves you free to switch networks or cut your plan when money is tight.

Revibe Deals by Brand

Brand What Revibe lists What to check
Apple iPhone Renewed iPhones across many generations Model year, storage, condition grade, battery health and whether Face ID or Touch ID works fully
Samsung Galaxy Renewed Galaxy phones Model and series, storage, condition grade and how many years of software updates the model has left
Other devices iPads, Apple Watches, MacBooks and laptops Compatibility with your phone and whether cellular models need a separate data plan

Choosing a generation

An older flagship can cost less than a new mid-range phone. It may also get software updates for less time. Compare the price difference between generations against how long you plan to keep the phone.

Double and Bundle Deals

Revibe doesn’t sell network double deals, because it doesn’t sell contracts. What you can do is build your own bundle.

Compare the total against a network double deal. Remember that a contract double deal usually means two monthly commitments, while two Revibe devices are paid off and done.

Application, Delivery and Collection Options

Paying and applying

There’s no contract application at Revibe. You pay at checkout by card or Apple Pay, or choose a buy-now-pay-later partner. Each BNPL partner has its own approval process, repayment schedule and terms. Read them before choosing, and make sure the instalments fit your budget.

Delivery

Revibe offers free delivery via DHL, plus a faster Revibe Express option for orders placed before the daily cut-off. Delivery times depend on your location, so check the estimate at checkout.

Collection

Revibe operates as an online store. We didn’t find a walk-in collection option on its website, so plan for delivery.

Returns and warranty

Revibe offers 10 days to return a device for free and a 12-month warranty. If something is wrong when your phone arrives, test it straight away so you stay within the return window.

Checks to do when your phone arrives

Note any problems and contact Revibe within the return period.
