Uncapped WiFi with no contract means month-to-month home internet you can leave with notice. Two things are worth understanding before signing: what “no contract” actually removes, and what “uncapped” actually means.
No contract still means notice
Month-to-month is not the same as cancel-anytime. A notice period usually applies, commonly one calendar month. There is also often still a credit assessment, since it remains a billed service.
What you do avoid is a 24-month commitment and an early-settlement charge — which is the point.
Uncapped still has a threshold
Almost every uncapped package applies a fair-use limit, after which speeds are reduced. Ask what the threshold is and what speed follows it.

What the flexibility costs
Month-to-month carries a premium over a fixed term for the same service, and the router is more often bought separately rather than included.
That premium is worth paying while you verify the connection works at your address — wireless performance cannot be fully known in advance. Once proven, a fixed term is cheaper.

Prepaid data as an alternative
A prepaid data SIM in a router you own involves no agreement at all and no credit check. It costs more per gigabyte but commits you to nothing.
