The step from FlexOn»2 to FlexOn»4 doubled the anytime data and added minutes for a higher monthly price. If you regularly run out of 2GB, the bigger plan may cost less than buying bundles on top.

Telkom tagged this device as a “Monthly deal”. That label suggests the offer is reviewed regularly, so the price you see may differ from what we recorded. Check on the day you apply.
Over 36 months, work out the total you’ll pay and compare it with newer iPhones. When we checked, Telkom also listed the iPhone 16e and a new iPhone 15 at higher starting prices. A newer phone may be a better fit for a three-year contract if the monthly difference is manageable.
Data, Minutes and Included Extras
The plans attached to the pre-owned iPhone 13 include three types of allocation:
- Anytime data you can use at any hour.
- All-net minutes for calls to any South African network.
- On-net minutes for calls to other Telkom numbers only.
If most of the people you call are on Vodacom, MTN or Cell C, focus on the all-net figure. The Prime Video Mobile Edition promotion is a promotional extra; check how long it lasts and whether it needs activation.
“TopUp” and standard versions of FlexOn»2 were shown at the same price with the same inclusions. Ask Telkom how they differ before choosing.
