Can I buy a contract phone without payslip?
You just need to prove affordability to get a contract phone. It simply requires bank statements from a South African bank and you cannot be unemployed. You will usually be satisfied with a pay slip or 3-month statements.
What do you need to apply for a phone contract?
For new contracts: Original ID document (not driver’s licence)*, Proof of residence (not older than 3 months), 3 months bank statements (stamped by the bank), Proof of banking details, latest payslip.
