When we checked in September 2026, the only contract deal was two pre-owned iPhone 14 128GB phones for R649 pm x 36 on RED Flexi 170. That’s a two-phone price, not the cost of one iPhone 14. We didn’t find a new iPhone 14 or a single-phone contract.

Two. The deal names a primary and a secondary device, both pre-owned iPhone 14 128GB. Vodacom’s listing shows the iPhone 14 “from R649 PM”, which is easy to read as a single-phone price. It isn’t.

RED Flexi 170 gives you R170 of airtime each month rather than a fixed data and minutes bundle. Check Vodacom’s current rates to see how far that airtime goes on calls, SMS and out-of-bundle data. The deal also included a once-off promotional 30GB top-up.

Upfront Costs, Fees and Promotion Terms
- Delivery fee. The deal page showed a once-off R79 delivery fee added to your first month’s bill.
- Stock and delivery. The product page showed Starlight in stock and Midnight and Purple available to order with a wait. The deal page flagged delayed delivery of about 2 to 3 weeks. Stock changes quickly.
- Warranty. The specs list a 1-year warranty. Vodacom’s Good As New terms for pre-owned devices mention a 12-month supplier warranty that doesn’t cover accidental, physical or liquid damage. Ask whether those terms apply to this phone.
- Condition. No cosmetic grade was shown. Pre-owned phones can have scratches or minor marks.
- Promotions. The 30GB top-up and “Online Exclusive” label can change or end. Check the order summary before you sign.
